How To Switch From AOL^®

Step 1. First, find your local access number here (National), or here (Regional). 

Step 2. Configure your software:  WinXP - Win2000 - Win98.  If you need software, we recommend Internet Explorer.  Download high-speed software here for National access accounts.

Step 3. Want to move your address book?  Download Intellisync for AOL, and synchronize your AOL address book with Outlook Express.

Step 4. Cancel or downgrade your AOL service.  To downgrade, go to AOL keyword "billing" and switch to the Light Usage plan ($4.95/month for 3 hours).  Consider checking your AOL email "offline" by using Communicator for AOL instead (this free software will also synchronize your AOL address book with Outlook Express).  AOL service can be cancelled by members over the phone, by fax, or by mail (per AOL instructions):

• By Phone.  Call 1-888-265-8008.  Ask that a confirmation of your cancellation be faxed or mailed to your home address.
• By Fax. Use this form and fax request to 1-904-232-4879.
• By Mail. Use this form and send request to:
